Responsibilities:
• Utilize specialized expertise in mission operations, including readiness, GEOINT, IMINT, SIGINT system engineering, release, and readiness, to enhance system capabilities.
• Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop comprehensive system requirements tailored to mission objectives.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, and dependencies relevant to the specialized area of expertise.
• Provide technical support to government points of contact, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with SETA team members, development contractors, and customer forums to drive project success.
• Interface seamlessly with engineers from various contractors and government organizations, facilitating clear communication and efficient collaboration.
• Develop assessments and briefings tailored to diverse audiences, conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Manage program lifecycles from concept development and design to deployment, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Drive the development of CONOPS requirements, interface control documentation, technical specifications, and architecture designs relevant to the specialized area of expertise.
• Apply systems development methodologies and cloud technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively address customer requirements with minimal supervision, leveraging expertise to define solutions for specialized technical topics.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with impeccable interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
• Excel in collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders, building consensus and driving project success.
• Proficiently use MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project, and be familiar with • • MBSE/Digital Engineering tools.
• Bring real-time operations experience relevant to the specialized area of expertise, enriching understanding of operational challenges and requirements. Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field with nine (9) years or more of experience; or Master's degree with seven (7) years or more of experience.
• Prior experience as any of the following systems engineers: Readiness, GEOINT, IMINT, SIGINT system engineer, release, readiness.
• Deep knowledge of NRO systems engineering processes and mission operations.
• Experience in program lifecycle management, including concept development, design, deployment, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Proficiency in developing CONOPS requirements, interface control documentation, technical specifications, and architecture designs.
• Familiarity with systems development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, Spiral, Waterfall) and cloud technologies.
• Strong self-starter who proactively addresses customer requirements with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communicator with impeccable interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
• Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders, capable of building consensus and driving project success.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project, and familiarity with MBSE/Digital Engineering tools.
