Superb opportunity for a talented Security Specialist to work in our client's Security Engineering and Operations Team who. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing certain cybersecurity operations functions including vulnerability management, risk management, security process compliance, and endpoint security management.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Inventory and prioritize vulnerabilities from multiple sources including vulnerability scanning, penetration test exercises, security configuration assessments, audit reviews, etc.
• Maintain a dynamic inventory of technology assets from multiple sources including CMDBs, element management platforms, endpoint detection and response tools, and various security management tools
• Partner with other IT teams to manage the vulnerability lifecycle starting with identification through remediation
• Collaborate with our Security Governance Team to provide transparency in our cybersecurity effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in an IT role including two years of experience in a cybersecurity related role
• Understanding of cybersecurity program frameworks such as NIST CSF, etc.
• Understanding of various technical concepts such as cloud computing, SaaS, systems administration, networking, endpoint and network security, application development, etc.
• Understanding of security technologies such as vulnerability scanning and analysis, EDR, application whitelisting, next-generation firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience in vulnerability assessments and threat intelligence management and monitoring
• Experience in data analysis tools and processes such as Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.
