Work Schedule: Remote
Work Hours: Monday to Friday (EST 8:00am - 5:00pm)
Contract Details: 6mo contract to start.
Pay Rate: $ 50hr
Candidates: Must be eligible to work W2 (US Citizens or GC Holders, company will not work with no CTCs)
Position Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and validating business and system requirements for strategic company initiatives. This role will facilitate communication between technology and business teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives. They will develop prototypes and effectively communicate requirements to development teams for implementation.
Deliverables:
- Business requirements documents
- Functional and non-functional specifications
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Process flows, workflow diagrams, and system maps
- Wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
- 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment.
- Proficient in elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and communication of requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex concepts and manage detailed requirements.
- Experience in the education domain and proficiency with Salesforce or Visio are preferred.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and end users to understand business needs for new products or features.
- Employ various techniques to gather requirements, including interviews, workshops, surveys, and site visits.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and process flows to communicate requirements effectively to development teams.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and support quality assurance processes.
- Create comprehensive business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
- Continuously refine and update documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
