Vocal Training Instructor for Summer Program - TK-8th Grade
Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Vocal Training Instructor to join our summer program. The instructor will be responsible for providing age-appropriate vocal training to students in grades TK-1 and grades 5-8. This position requires a dynamic individual who is skilled in teaching various vocal techniques and fostering a love for music among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and educational vocal lessons tailored to students of specific age groups (TK-1 and 5-8).
• Introduce basic and advanced vocal techniques, ensuring lessons are age-appropriate and engaging.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and personalized guidance.
• Create a supportive and motivating environment that encourages students to enjoy and continue learning music.
• Coordinate with program staff to ensure logistical aspects of classes run smoothly.
• Handle any classroom management or student behavior issues professionally.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a vocal instructor, music teacher, or similar role, with a focus on younger audiences.
• Strong understanding of vocal health and technique.
• Ability to design and implement curriculum and lesson plans that engage and inspire students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and teens.
• Commitment to professional ethics and a deep understanding of the varying developmental stages of children.
• Current background check or willingness to undergo a background check prior to employment.

Schedule:

• July 1st to July 3rd (1:00-2:00 & 3:20-4:20)
• July 8th to July 11th (1:00-2:00, 2:00-3:00, & 3:20-4:20)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
