It was in those kitchens that Annas Taqueria was first conceived with the mission of bringing the home-style flavor of Mexican street food to the people of Boston. Brooklines Beacon Street became Annas first home in 1995, and the people couldnt get enough. Since then, weve expanded into Boston, Cambridge, Newton, and Somerville. COMMUNITY Our passion for food is only rivaled by our passion to giving back to the communities where we live, work, and love. Annas was born in Boston and b...orn for Boston. Partnering with inspiring community organizations and grateful customers is our bread and butter (or, in our case, tortillas and salsa). Annas has supported hundreds of organizations with in-kind food donations, gift cards, and charity burrito rolls. Were honored to support grassroots fundraising efforts and regularly help local organizations and volunteers champion the causes theyre passionate about. A COMMITMENT GREEN Sustainable earth-friendly operations have been the Annas standard since day one. Annas focus on green starts with fresh food and ingredients purchased locally whenever possible. Weve taken it one step further, outfitting most of our fleet of Annas vehicles to run on vegetable oil. And we recycle thousands of pounds of paper, plastic, and glass each week. That means almost everything produced by Annas goes back to the earth, into production, or into our vehicles to deliver the best burritos in Boston. More
