STAFF ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER IN BOTHELL, WA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BSEE, BSME, or BSCS required.
  • 5 years of professional hands-on electro-mechanical or electrical test experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in creating, executing, analyzing, and reporting on hardware testing.
  • Understanding of basic firmware and how to interface a microcontroller.
  • Experience using lab equipment like o-scopes, dmm's, programmable power supplies, etc.
  • Strong understanding of EE fundamentals in analog and digital design.
  • Familiar with Linux and Android command lines.
  • Familiar with CAD tools like Altium, OrCAD, and Allegro.
  • Experience in board bring up, system bring-up and validation.
  • Knowledge of power delivery and PMIC characterization.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic understanding of automation using Python or LabVIEW.
  • Experience using lab equipment and soldering components down to 0402.
  • Knowledge of I2C, SPI, I3C, PCIe, USB, DSI, CSI.
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Experience with design of experiments (DOE).
  • Experience with Familiar Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position works in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space. You will work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. Someone who loves to be hands-on with an analytical and inquisitive mind would work well in this position.
  • Develop test plans and clearly communicate results.
  • Track coverage metrics as well as bug management.
  • Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical system level verification work status and results.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates . Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $75,000 - $125,000.
