ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
•Operate automated and manual assembly cells and monitor process sequence of operation, as identified in departmental quality plans and work instructions.
•Navigate and acknowledge screens on HMI display controls.
•Select product recipes for varying dimensions and specifications at each assembly station.
•Identify and correct alerts, alarms and/or non-conforming product.
•Assist Assembly set-up personnel with the changing over of tooling on the automated and manual lines.
•Troubleshoot part compliance and equipment problems, enlisting the assistance of the set-up personnel, leadership or maintenance as needed.
•Safely use rigging or manually lift work pieces to load on the assembly lines.
•Demonstrate an understanding of part gaging principles.
•Monitor robots at loading/unloading and pack-out stations for proper operation.
•Assist in cleaning, maintaining and storing tooling and equipment.
•Maintain strong communications with fellow operators and leadership.
•Tag and segregate non-conforming product.
•Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe.
The ideal candidate will be able to work up to a 12-hour shift and have some manufacturing experience.
