About the Role >> The Production Supervisor is responsible for increasing productivity with innovative methods and motivating associates to perform better. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations and be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs and to ensure the production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities >>

• Supervises associates to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating Job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions: and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment.
• Monitor personnel and resources, study methods, implement cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries,
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluation of new equipment and techniques.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
• Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.
• Maintaining communication between employees and plant manager to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
• Any other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.

Qualifications/Skills >>

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Engineering, or business Administration Preferred.
• High School Diploma, with 10 years’ experience in manufacturing and supervisory required.
• 5 years’ experience of working as a Production Supervisor or other similar position.
• Profound experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
