Description
Duties and responsibilities

• Supervise production team members, including giving work directions, scheduling, and reviewing reports and production documents and output reports.
• Communicate on a regular basis with other internal departments including Warehouse, Human Resources, Quality Assurance.
• Maintain the company's high standards of food safety, sanitation and cleanliness in all manufacturing facility areas.
• Ensure associates are properly trained on all production/manufacturing responsibilities and safety requirements.
• Monitor production lines regularly to assure that GMP's and Safety procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities and help implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 or 4 year degree in industrial supervision, engineering, business, or related field strongly preferred.
• 2 years in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing.
• Fluently Bilingual - Spanish/English - with ability and willingness to translate as needed
• Working computer skills, specifically MS office. UKG experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, can-do mentality.
• Ability to lead and empower team members, encouraging employee engagement and team mentality

Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position will also frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
