Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - B Job Description:

Qualifications
EMT-B Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• State specific Emergency Medical Technician certification in good standing / current NREMT certification
• Current CPR: BLS certification.
• Valid state specific Drivers' license.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently.

Preferred Qualifications (but not required)

• Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
