Under the guidance of our experienced Medical Director, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans. Primary Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

• Conduct thorough assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed patient medical histories.
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to assess and diagnose patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, X-rays, and electrocardiograms (EKGs).

Treatment Planning and Management:

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's condition, clinical guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within your scope of practice and in adherence to clinic protocols.
• Perform minor procedures, including wound care, suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage.
• Administer vaccinations and provide patient education on preventive care and health promotion.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with our esteemed Medical Director, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and caregivers, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Consult with specialists or arrange referrals when necessary for further evaluation or management of complex cases.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and patient interactions.

Urgent Care Policies and Protocols:

• Adhere to our clinic's policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices in urgent care medicine.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in the development of protocols and policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
• Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field is advantageous.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in performing minor procedures, such as wound closure and abscess drainage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough knowledge of urgent care protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and additional benefits.
