What You'll Do

Primary Responsibility: Coordinate and implement training support for all national training programs. Responsible for the logistics behind all training programs conducted by the training departmentEssential Functions:• Coordinate, communicate and arrange all class enrollments, available training sessions, and class photos.• Coordinate and communicate all pre/post-class work for all training courses.• Responsible for all aspects of classroom set up.• Facilitate the beginning of each class conducted in the training center. Introduce the training topic and offer assistance to attendees.• Responsible for course training and evaluation process.• Negotiate with and monitor external vendors to ensure maximum volume discounts.• Function as primary contact for the vendors upon agreement of services. Work with contractors to provide necessary services.• Responsible for all department correspondence.• Maintain video library and loan process.• Other duties as requested.

What Experience You Need

Qualifications & Experience:• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred. • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficient telephone skills• Meeting planning, department coordination skills• Ability to multi-task• Strong organizational and time management skills• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office 2000, including Word, Excel and Lotus Notes• Negotiation skills• Outstanding proofreading skills• Able to work independently• Team orientedPhysical Requirements:• Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending• Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work • Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks• May require travel by automobile and airplane up for business• May require a visit facility operations in temperatures at or below freezing• May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds• Requires the use of various electronic tools • Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes• Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive managementAmericold is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.EOE/AA M/F/D/V DFW.
