Olive Ateliers is a lifestyle brand specializing in importing, curating and retailing vintage, antique and reclaimed objects and home decor. Our Los Angeles operation is looking for a passionate, self-starting team member. The candidate will support the business in a range of duties, including but not limited to executing client customizations, performing repairs, maintaining the facility, tools, and equipment, loading vehicles or delivery trucks, and other as needed labor or admin. The candidate will report directly to our Retail Experience Lead.

Scope of Work:

• Represent the Olive Ateliers brand while at work and in client and customer interactions through clear communication and professionalism

• Wrap and pack products for safe transit in customer or delivery vehicles

• Safely load customer vehicles and delivery vehicles manually and with forklift

• Facilitate new inventory arrivals and support with merchandising activities

• Move materials such as inventory and supplies manually or with the use of forklift, hand trucks, furniture dollies, or other equipment as needed or requested

• Repair inventory such as cabinets, pots, stoneware, and other miscellaneous repairs

• Customize products as required, including but not limited to fountain conversions

• Procure and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for efficient operations

• Support with cleaning and organizational duties to ensure a professional operation

• Monitor for graffiti and maintain a professional building exterior on a daily basis

• Oversee interior and exterior plant-care, watering and/or pruning as needed

Work Schedule:

• Tuesday - Saturday; 8:30am-5:00pm

• Overtime eligible as needed

Basic Requirements:

• OSHA compliant forklift training and certification

• Basic competence with handheld tools and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds manually; otherwise with proper equipment and safety

• Organized and able to remain agile and strategic in a fast-moving environment

• Detail oriented, with strong problem solving skills and positive approach to challenges

• Collaborative team player, happy to support the needs of the team at all times

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Licensed to drive required

Advanced Requirements:

• Proficiency with Apple operating systems and Google web applications
