Job summary

Metispire is seeking an experienced project management training specialist with a strong background in adult learning to provide comprehensive project management training to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and delivering engaging training programs tailored to adult learners.

Primary responsibilities

• Design project management training programs for adult learners.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars on-site or remotely.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and implement improvements as needed.
• Stay current with the latest project management trends, tools, and best practices.
• Stay current with the latest adult learning trends, tools, and best practices.
• Other activities as assigned.

Essential skills

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proficient in using virtual training platforms and tools.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in education, project management, or a related field is required.

Certification

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• Adult education or training certification is highly desirable.

Experience

• At least ten years of project management experience.
• At least five years of experience delivering training to adults.

Job Type

• Contract – this position is project-based and contingent upon contract award. The trainer will be engaged for the training project, with the possibility of extension based on performance and client needs.

Location

• Mostly remote with some in-person meetings at our Chattanooga, Tennessee office. (home office must be in the state of Tennessee.)
• Domestic and international travel as needed.
