Director of Social Work - SNF/LTC - Located in Long Branch, NJ
Salary: $75K to $85K range (based on experience)
Requirements of the Director of Social Work:
- Educational Excellence: Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.
- Licensure/Certification: Hold state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
- Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Strong Skillset: Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrate a deep dedication to improving the lives of elderly individuals.
Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work:
- Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
- Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
- Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population.
