  • The Managing Director of Inflight Strategy & Support will provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction to developing and delivering an industry-leading onboard customer and team member experience by supporting flight attendants and those who support them.
  • This position will lead Inflight administration, performance, analytics & reporting data science continual improvement, and Inflight operations support teams to ensure flight attendants and leaders have the tools they need. Additionally, this position will coordinate with multiple departments to drive Inflight efficiency and operational excellence, as well as ensure that our flight attendants and leaders have the right information at the right time.
What you'll do
  • Lead Inflight support teams to deliver complex initiatives in innovative ways that support our flight attendants and deliver value to our customers.
  • Coordinate across divisions to define and deliver an industry-leading onboarding experience for customers and flight attendants in partnership with customer service standards; define strategy of service
  • Provide operational, analytical, and planning support to Inflight base teams systemwide
  • Partner with Customer Experience, Airports, IT, Corporate Security, Regulatory Affairs, Flight Operations, Communications, Marketing and Commercial teams
  • Drive initiatives that significantly improve Customer Satisfaction (CSS) scores for flight attendants and Likelihood to Recommend (LTR)
  • Participate in and prepare for emergency and incident responses
  • Develop capabilities of a direct team through coaching, counseling, and growth opportunities
  • Create a culture which fosters a professional workplace, strong work ethic, and company pride
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience; Advanced Degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience in leadership roles, overseeing large workgroups with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Action oriented, results-driven leader with a natural aptitude for engaging employees in multiple workgroups
  • Extensive experience managing and implementing large, complex multi-divisional projects
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, and critical thinking ability
  • Experience leading front-line teams preferred
  • Ability to be flexible in rapidly changing conditions and priorities, and to redirect managers and teams toward new objectives; ability to embrace ambiguity and create clarity
  • Demonstrated ability to perform both independently and as a team member, handle multiple assignments, complete projects on time, and perform under pressure
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels, both verbally and written
  • Proven ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization
