We are seeking a Senior Demand Planner. At the core of this senior demand planner position, is the focus on an optimized demand plan. Measures of success will include on-time in full, inventory within target and delivering the shipping forecast. This individual will create a demand plan in agreement with required service level and optimizing business opportunities while securing profitability. Linking in the (end to end) supply chain and collaborating with the brand, commercial, merchandising teams and customer service in market will be a critical aspect of this role. Heighten command of the market and global supply chain functions will enable delivering the right product, to the right place at the right time. Flying high and seeing the big picture: link all processes from order entry to delivery and driving process improvements to optimize sales productivity.

Details in how the work will get done:

• Develop and manage demand plan at model, color, size and month level. Mentor junior and new team members, onboarding them to demand planning foundational activities.
• Analyze and challenge market forecast to provide a compromise between ambitions and stock risks.
• Manage categories through productivity targets and inventory objectives.
• Manage demand plan to open to buy and check / balances. Manage challenging and complex categories, sometimes handling launch or volatile demand realities.
• Participate in forecasting consensus sessions, bringing inputs recommended forecast position for review. Facilitate healthy collab across commercial, sales, marketing, finance. Coordinate decision taking and consensus on a common demand plan and brand strategy
• Participate in sales order deadline booking processes and checkpoints.
• Lead market conversation with global demand and supply planning to ensure timing buys voice into blind buys. Collaborate on capacity constraints and mitigations available. Represent the cadence of buys in the market and organize the market team to make timely buy decisions.
• Lead and contribute to projects to drive continuous improvement and create leverage in the organization.

KPIs owned in Demand Planning:

• On-time, in-full
• Inventory targets by category, turns
• SKU productivity, 80/15/5 analysis
• Component forecasting: initial orders, cancellations, reorders and closeout.
• Shipment forecasting

This role requires Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent combination of relevant experience.

Other qualifications include:

• Completed studies (university/technical college) and/or specific professional experience with minimum 5 years experience in supply chain.
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Team player attitude, collaboration focused
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
• Excellent follow-up
• Solid computer skills (MS Office) are required
