Nursery & Childcare Coordinator - Full Time
Job Summary
The Nursery Childcare Coordinator/ NC will oversee, manage, and develop the Calvary Worship Center Nursery department (Infants - 2 years old) and (mixed age groups 6wk-5th)for Childcare experiences for ministries. The NC will build strong relationships with children and their families, supporting families as their children grow. The NC will perform activities that ensure the health, safety, and progress of each child in the group. The NC will perform other specific tasks on days and times required (i.e. Room cleaning and curriculum preparation)

• Familiarity with MS Windows operating system: MS Word, MS Excel, Internet Email, and Internet usage.
• Self-motivated and flexible to the needs of the ministry
• Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.

Specific Job Duties/Requirements

• Oversee Nursery department and Childcare division, workers and associated functions; able to oversee all services

• Attend staff and department meetings regularly

• Attend weekly church service
• Ensure compliance and implementation of policies put in place by leadership
• Cooperate and enforce consistent check-in/out procedures
• Maintain monthly volunteer scheduling and curriculum for Nursery & Childcare area
• Assist in the recruitment, development, and oversight of volunteers in NC
• Assist with all Children's Ministry events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CMD or CWC administrators
• Attend all required trainings and present and/or assist with training as directed
• Interact and correspond with Ministry overseers
• Develops and enhances curriculums for special events

• Maintains in classrooms with order and safety by assuring
  • Each classroom is staffed adequately
  • Adheres to a two-person per classroom policy
  • No adult is left alone with a child
  • No youth servant is left alone in a classroom

• Rooms are pleasant in appearance by assuring:
  • Decorated seasonally or by theme
  • Perform or assign housekeeping duties: vacuuming, wiping tables, sanitizing toys
  • Care for the "cleaning needs" of specific children's rooms weekly
  • Changing out batteries in equipment and toys

• Cares for Infant/Toddler daily needs: diapering, toileting and feeding
• Provides classroom curriculum: Reading bible stories, crafts, prayer, activities, songs, finger plays
• Stock rooms with needed snacks and supplies
• Personal children may not be under direct care during work hours.

Physical Requirements
Physically able to lift to 25lbs. (with or without assistance)
Hours: Full Time
