The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for an Executive Director.
Applicants should have experience working in an office/professional environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, but possessing a degree in public or business administration, marketing, economics, or related field will be helpful. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
Essential functions of this position include financial management of the Chamber, providing member services and community leadership, marketing and events management, and supporting the Chamber Board of Directors. Candidates should have knowledge of general business and administrative functions, demonstrate passion and the ability to motivate others, and be comfortable with modern technology, including the use of social media and website development platforms. Strong organization, time management, communication skills, and the ability to work independently are necessary.
This position is a full time exempt position with occasional nights and weekends. Salary will be based on experience.
