The ideal candidate:

Dependable and committed to providing quality care
Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and flexible

Lead Caregiver Responsibilities and Requirements:
Education: minimum of high school diploma/GED
Must have reliable transportation; prefer own vehicle
Must be able to lift 25 pounds as needed using proper precautions and body mechanics
Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA/CNT, direct support professional, or caregiver; prefer two years for lead position; homecare preferred but facility experience accepted
Must be willing to travel up for one hour from home to provide care to clients
Must be willing to be "on call" during business hours as needed
Must be willing and available to assist home care coordinators with administrative tasks if not otherwise assigned to clients
Eligible for floating schedule: clients vary from week to week
Must provide personal care: bathing. grooming, dressing, assistance with dining and feeding
Must assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed
Performs home visits to ensure safe living conditions for client
Performs training assistance for less experienced caregivers
Positive attendance record
Open and regular communication with office staff

Qualifications
Must be able to pass a background
Must be at least 18 years old
Experience as a Caregiver preferable
Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
