Construction Project Manager – Masonry Restoration and Construction

We are a well-established and reputable commercial masonry restoration and construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects safely and on time. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and contribute to continued success!

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience managing commercial and/or municipal construction projects, masonry experience would be a big plus.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the project planning, development, and safe production processes. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and employee friendly work environment, accurately ordering and maintaining materials inventory, maintaining staffing plans, and completing projects on time and on budget.

If you have diverse experience in municipal, commercial, and light-industrial projects, you're creative and a “think outside of the box” type person, this is the role for you!

Construction Project Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
    • Equivalent work experience may be substituted and encouraged.
  • 5 years of relevant experience on municipal and commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to pass a drug screen and a background check.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Maintain Safety: Prepare safety plans, administer training, maintain worksite cohesiveness.
  • Project Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements, scope and staffing plans.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and up-to-date information on materials and services.
  • Value Engineering: Collaborate with the project team to identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities without compromising project quality.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and develop contingency plans as necessary.
  • Cost Tracking: Assist in the development of project budgets and track actual project costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, bids, and project-related documentation for future reference and analysis.
