Allied Universal has an immediate need for a Full Time Global Security Operations Center Lead/Clerk for a Tech account in Cupertino, CA.

As a GSOC Lead/Clerk, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Lead/Clerk, under guidance of the GSOC Supervisor, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens. The GSOC Lead/Clerk will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools. The GSOC Lead/Clerk is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact the client’s people, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures.

Shift: Swing and Overnight

1400 - 2300 Thursday - Monday

2200 - 0700 Thursday - Monday

Pay: $34.50 / per hour

(Must have 2 years of customer service, security supervisory experience and strong computer skills)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five (5) years of verifiable experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience

• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test, may be required to pass Drivers Record check
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
