SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Administrator to join our dynamic team. The NetSuite Administrator will play a pivotal role in helping to deploy our NetSuite instance. Working closely with business stakeholders and NetSuite consultants. You will need to leverage NetSuite’s capabilities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within our organizations’ operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of NetSuite and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.

As the NetSuite Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization’s NetSuite platform. Your primary focus will be on configuring NetSuite to meet the specific needs of our business processes and users while ensuring data integrity, security, and system performance. You are also expected to be an active participant in ERP project design meetings related to NetSuite Administration to ensure that all requirements are documented and accounted for.
The successful candidate will be an advanced professional in both the process design and implementation space and have experience with NetSuite enterprise-wide software implementation projects.
This role works closely with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, Information Technology, testers, and vendor teams. This role requires an experienced Administrator who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, lead others, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.
This job will be based in an office in Dallas, Tx with limited travel and occasional remote work.

Essential Functions:

  • NetSuite Configuration and Customization:
    • Customize and configure Oracle NetSuite to align with business processes and requirements.
    • Implement and maintain scripts, workflows, and other customization features within the NetSuite platform.
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades:
    • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including managing user accounts, roles, and permissions.
    • Stay abreast of NetSuite updates and implement system upgrades in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Integration Management:
    • Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate NetSuite with other systems and applications.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across integrated platforms.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide user support by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering training sessions.
    • Create and maintain documentation to assist users in understanding NetSuite functionalities.
  • Security and Access Control:
    • Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard sensitive data within NetSuite.
    • Define and manage user roles and access controls to align with the principle of least privilege.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective NetSuite configurations.
    • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to optimize system performance.
  • Data Management and Quality:
    • Ensure the integrity and quality of data within the NetSuite system.
    • Implement data governance practices and contribute to data cleansing initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for improved efficiency.
    • Proactively address potential issues to maintain optimal system functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):

Required Education:

  • Describe Required Education. This is the Bare Minimum Education necessary to perform the Role.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience:

  • 6-8 years of NetSuite Administrator experience (Manufacturing/furniture industry experience is a plus.)
  • 2 years manage release deployments across the organization.
  • ERP knowledge of industry standard ERP tracks:
    • Procure to Pay
    • Order to Cash
    • Plan to Produce
    • Financials
  • Implementation and management of NetSuite ERP, Shop floor and Field services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/analytical and problem-solving with issue resolution skills.
  • Use of/creating SQL procedures / Understanding of relational databases
  • Experience with customizing NetSuite:
    • SuiteFlow (Required)
    • SuiteScript (Preferred)
    • SuiteTalk (Preferred)

Work Environment: This position will be performed in an office environment.


Physical Demands: This position has little to no physical demands.

Travel Required: Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, typically 8am to 5pm; Monday-Friday

  • Work will require intermittent weekend and/or evening work
  • Periodic travel to other office locations in Texas/Oklahoma
  • Flexible Office hours
