Job Title: Quality Inspector

Position Type/Shift: Full-time, B-Shift (Mon. - Thurs., 3 PM - 1:30 AM)

Reports To: Quality Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create first article inspections and in-process inspection reports.
• Generate Certificates of Compliance.
• Perform any duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Operate inspection equipment in the QC department.
• Perform PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) as required by customers.
• Inspect products for quality and compliance.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Create detailed inspection process documentation.
• Collect and analyze quality data using Microsoft Excel.
• Generate comprehensive quality reports.
• Possess the authority to halt the manufacturing process if a problem is detected.

Requested Knowledge, Competencies, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with various inspection tools, including calipers, height gauges, specialized computerized test equipment, etc.
• Ability to perform thorough inspections of products.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading with experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Capability to perform electrical tests is a plus.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• High School Diploma.
• 5-10 years of experience working in the quality field.
• MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON DAY SHIFT
