Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable/Payables Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounts receivable/payables. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining positive relationships with our clients and ensuring timely payment of invoices.

Responsibilities:

- Process and record incoming payments from clients

- Review and verify accuracy of invoices and billing statements

- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments

- Generate and send out monthly statements to clients

- Monitor accounts receivable/payables aging report and follow up on overdue payments

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing disputes or outstanding issues

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in the accounting system

- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable/payables

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding billing inquiries or concerns

Experience:

- Previous experience in financial services or accounts receivable role preferred

- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Knowledge of revenue cycle management principles and practices

- Ability to negotiate effectively with clients regarding payment terms or outstanding balances

- Proficient in basic math calculations and understanding of financial concepts

- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Experience working with accounting software, such as Quickbooks, is a plus

- Basic coding knowledge for invoice processing is desirable

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and internal teams

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
