The PERSI (Periodical Source Index) Encoder provides support to obtain information necessary to construct the PERSI database, a research tool that improves access to periodical articles on genealogical and historical topics.
This person will assign a place, record type code, and short title to each article in the database. For the full job description, click here.
You'd be a great fit for this role if you are skilled at organized record keeping on the computer and you can understand and follow oral and written directions well.
This employee will work 24 hours per week under the direction of the PERSI Supervisor. This is a 12-month temporary position and the compensation will be $12.50/hour.
Position will remain open until filled.
