We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines to ensure efficient production processes.
Duties:
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Operate machines to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and drilling materials
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet required specifications
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role
- Proficient in using various machines and tools, fabrication experience a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
