As the Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be a security engineering leader for Allegions next generation IoT platform connecting Allegions electromechanical locks and access control systems for Residential and Commercial environments. In this role, you will be a key contributor to a team of cross-functional product development engineers by driving improvements to our IoT platforms security posture.

**What You Will Do** :

Lead effort to obtain and maintain SoC2 Type 2 compliance for our IoT platform

Identify and communicate security gaps as well as best practices based on SoC2 compliance as actionable work items to the development teams

Collaborate with product management, architecture, and product security teams to elicit and manage our IoT platforms security requirements

Identify, analyze and communicate program risks related to security and compliance

Regularly review and evaluate our IoT platforms security posture with Allegions Product Security Team

Contribute to defining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of interface control documents (ICDs) for next generation Allegion devices connecting to Allegions IoT platform

Contribute to the Agile Release Train (ART) PI Planning ceremony, ensuring the agile software teams can meet the delivery needs required by the business and cybersecurity

Provide clear communication to technical team members as well as to other leaders and managers

Coordinate ongoing security monitoring, logging, and response for the IoT platform

As the IoT platform matures the responsibility may increase in scope to provide cybersecurity support for other Allegion software programs

**What You Need to Succeed** :

BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

At least 8 years experience in IoT devices, access control, consumer products, automotive, aerospace, or medical

You have demonstrated experience leading project teams to deliver complex programs

You bring strong engineering project management skills, including: planning and organization, stakeholder management, risk management, change management, and clear communication

You can communicate effectively with both business leaders and development engineers

You have experience with analyzing and decomposing compliance controls for SOC2 certification or other similar industry recognized certifications.

You are self-directed with high initiative and high achievement goals

You have knowledge of cybersecurity methods and protocols, experience with cloud service architectures (AWS, Azure) and mobile SDKs

You can provide technical coaching and mentoring

You have experience in Systems Engineering processes including design by requirements, traceability, and verification and validation

Travel requirements: 10%

**Compensation:**

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual salary will be based on your skills and experience, along with other factors.

The expected Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $176,700. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
