Top Tier Reps is Hiring a Director of Inpatient Nursing Services Near Sanford, NC

Job Description

Position Summary: The Director of Inpatient Nursing Services is responsible for the organization, direction, and supervision of clinical and procedural units in our hospital, which includes an 8-bed ICU, a 12-bed Med/Surg floor, and a 24-bed Med/Tele floor.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Maintaining safe staffing levels
  • Managing supplies and equipment
  • Overseeing efficient patient throughput
  • Developing, implementing, and managing the department budget
  • Engaging in continuous quality and performance improvement
  • Investing in staff professional development and lifelong learning
  • Ensuring completion of required annual competencies
  • Communicating essential information to the CNO and senior leadership

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Master's degree (preferred)

Licensure Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or a compact state)

Certification Requirements:

  • BLS (within 30 days of hire)
  • ACLS (within 90 days of hire)

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of nursing experience in a critical care unit
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience (Supervisor, Manager, Director, etc.)
  • Analytical and interpersonal/relationship skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate with diverse departments
