Pacific Printing is Hiring an Offset Printing Press Operator Near Dallas, TX
Press Operator - Need to be willing to perform bindery functions
PRESS IS AN RMGT 7 SERIES PRESS - Experience running this press is a huge PLUS
Duties:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- Monitor press operations to ensure proper ink coverage, registration, and overall print quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Adjust press settings as needed to meet job specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production workflow
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Team Player required - Needs to be willing to cut, fold or do other duties when press work not available
Skills:
- Proficient in layout design and typography
- Knowledge of prepress processes and print advertising
- Experience with quality control procedures in a printing environment
- Familiarity with machining and CNC operations
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of graphic design principles is a plus
- Ability to fabricate and modify printing plates as needed
