Alhambra Hospital Medical Center is Hiring a MEDICAL STAFF SPECIALIST Near Alhambra, CA
The Medical Staff Specialist is assigned the primary responsibility of medical staff credentialing and all related activities. These activities include processing new appointments, and reappointments. Ensure thorough and timely verification of Licensed Independent Practitioner's (LIPs) and Allied Health Professional Staff (AHP) credentialing and privileges according to the medical staff bylaws, credentials manual and policies and procedures. Plans agendas and prepares for meetings, records and transcribes minutes of all departments and various other committees as assigned.
Previous experience in acute hospital medical staff setting required.
NAMSS Certification as a Certified Provider of Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) or as a Certified Provider Credentials Specialist (CPCS)
