OTHER ITEMS TO NOTE: This role requires a 90-day trial/probationary period in which the candidate would be compensated as a Contractor. At the end of the 90-day trial period, assuming candidate meets required expectations of the role, they would then be converted to a full-time employee of the business with benefits to be conferred that are in line with this role.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform basic medical procedures (EKG, etc.), such as taking vital signs, initial exam charting/data collection, capturing/entering/sending Rx's, answering and returning patient calls/emails, managing provider referral requests, working within EHR/EMR (eClinicalWorks), basic clean up/exam room prep.
* Managing medical supplies inventory.
* Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling billing and insurance claims.
* Assist healthcare providers with examinations and treatments.
* Prepare patients for procedures and assist with patient education.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LVN or comparable experience in an urgency care or clinical setting (Clinical setting and at least 5yrs of LVN experience is highly preferred). Candidates with less than 3 years of experience will not be considered at this time due to the requirements of this role.
* Strong phone and people interaction skills; a positive mindset and exceeding the patient expectations is critical in this role.
* Extreme proficiency within one of the most used EMR/EHR platforms (eClinicalWorks, Athena, Epic, OracleCerner)
* Proficient in medical terminology and documentation.
* Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures.
* Proficiency in basic clinical medical exams, such as EKGs.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking between patient interactions.
* Proficient with technology, such as email management, various software systems used to run a clinic, insurance verification software.
* Strong patient care and customer service skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems (eClinicalWorks, Athena, Epic, OracleCerner).
* Potential candidates will need to show proof of proficiency during interview process via a "live test" on computer and phone systems.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
COMPENSATION:
* Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience and skills proficiency of the candidate, which will need to be proven during the interview process and the 90-day trial period. A percentage of the compensation of the candidate will be based on production and meeting of specific metrics as defined by the business for this role. This would be considered a "bonus or at risk" part of the total compensation package, so is earned based on performance.
