**JOB SUMMARY:**

The Store Operations Supervisor works under the direction of the Store Manager to maintain efficient store operations. Furthers the organization commitment to achieving triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic and environmental goals into thinking, planning and action. Responsible for providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized and safe store. The Store Operations Supervisor creates a positive employee and customer experience by modeling Goodwills mission and citizenship behaviors at all times.

**Hourly Wage: $12.25**

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1. Essential duties include the following:

* Ensures best-in-class customer and employee experience

* Successfully performs supervisory functions that pertain to the daily activities of our store and donation center

* Oversees the training and safety of teammates

2. Represents the Agency in all interactions with others members of the Goodwill community and with the general public, supporting the agency Vision of creating sustainable communities that thrive through the fullest participation of their diverse residents.

3. Complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as Agency policies

4. Detailed essential functions include:

* Help customers locate merchandise, answer questions etc.

* Relieve sales associates at peak tim

* Listen to customer complaints, examine returned merchandise, and resolve problems.

* Stocks shelves, counters, bins and racks with merchandis

* Processes customer sales using a cash register and other equipmen

* Receives donations, provides donation receipts and assists donors.

* Closes registers: totals/summarizes funds received, endorses checks, prepares bank deposit sli

* Deposits funds at a bank.

* Assists w/performance management and hiring process (documentation, interviewing, reviews, etc.)

* Assists Store Managers w/general store management/operatio

* Open/close store; secures all store premises including building where applicabl

* Maintain store premises

* Supervise personnel in absence of Managers

5. Other store duties as assigned

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

* Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude in order to be a great teammate and role model

* 6 months of Goodwill retail store experience or 1 year of prior retail store supervisory experience

* Mathematical and literacy skills to support job duties

* Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends and holidays.

* Computer literacy to support job duties

* High school diploma, GED, HiSET or equivalent

* Criminal background check that meets agency standards

* Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record and insurance meeting agency standards

* Medium Work Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

* Ability to stand and move about for extended periods of time with only short rest breaks; reach, bend, stoop to handle product.
