The firms Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The Marcus Agent Product and Delivery Systems Execution team is seeking an energetic and platform-focused group manager. In this role youll apply your strong communication skills and work with key stakeholders across the organization to deliver and sustain the best experiences for our customers and our organization.

You and the team will work with teams of engineers to drive transformation and to bring agent systems together under common tools and platforms to drive efficiency across Delivery and enable our technology to scale alongside our business. You will work collaboratively across several different teams within the organization including the business, product, engineering and customer service teams.

Strong communication skills are a must to establish rapport, influence and trust with senior decision makers. Success in this role will also heavily depend on the ability to think both critically and creatively. You will continue to grow and build a team to help infuse new technology and infrastructure into the Marcus organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead an agent product team that delivers high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work across all Marcus business lines, including Card, Deposits and Lending, to bring teams together under common tools and platforms to drive efficiency across Delivery and enable our technology to scale alongside our business.
  • Responsible for Delivery systems execution and troubleshooting
  • Curate, maintain, and communicate impactful roadmap(s) with internal and external stakeholders
  • Write user stories using control-driven design principles with detailed acceptance criteria
  • Groom user and technical stories with developers and validate that features meet expectations
  • Prioritize a product backlog, making informed trade-offs between new feature development, platform investment and optimizations
  • Collaborate with your team, other internal product managers, the delivery teams and diverse cross-functional teams to ensure cohesiveness of the overall agent product experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Leadership experience, either through a direct reporting relationship or indirectly
  • High emotional intelligence, with an innate ability to recognize and understand the emotions and needs of others
  • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and communicating solutions with clarity
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills, such as effectively managing evolving priorities and strict deadlines
  • Preference to work in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork, consensus and relationships
  • Proficient in major product management applications (i.e. Jira, Confluence)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of product experience with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in software engineering or technical product management
  • Experience with SQL and Jira
  • Credit card / financial services industry experience
  • Experience with: cloud software, on-premise software, asynchronous messaging platforms
