Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents and design drawings for a variety of project types
• Obtain as-built drawings and manage utility coordination
• Prepare project specifications and construction cost estimates
• Conduct field visits to review existing conditions, design constraints, or construction activities
• Provide design support during construction (requests for information, contractor submittals, etc.)

Qualifications (We encourage all applicants to apply, even if you don't meet all of the qualifications listed below)

• Bachelor's or master's degree in transportation, civil engineering, or a related field
• Work experience as a designer and/or completion of significant project coursework in transportation engineering design, roadway design, civil site design, or related areas
• Exceptional technical writing and public speaking skills
• A focus on career growth
• EIT or PE license (highly desirable)
• Familiar with design software, such as AutoCAD and/orMicrostation(highly desirable)

$76,000 - $82,000 a year
The salary range for this position is $76000-82000 per year. Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
