Airthings is a fast-growing tech company and we would like you to join our team of summer interns for the summer of 2024. Our paid summer internships will give you useful, hands-on experience in your field of study. Our internships are hands-on with relevant work tasks from the very beginning. As a well-established, fast-growing company we are always interested in new ideas. Previous summer students have made apps, content, and firmware which is still being used today. With us, everyone is an important contributor and you get responsibilities and have an impact on the business.
The Hardware, Firmware, Q&A Team, and your role
This part of R&D is responsible for the development of the hardware products, including electronics, plastics, and the firmware that runs in these products. In addition, the teams are responsible for testing, manufacturing follow-up, and quality assurance. Firmware development encompasses everything from sensor drivers to wireless connectivity.
During the summer we will have several interns working on projects that have clearly defined charters and goals. We try to tailor projects to your interests, whilst also creating value for us as a company. We provide excellent opportunities to use what you have learned in your studies and put it into practice. Our internships are fun and also look great on your CV! In previous years, great examples of what our interns worked on are; new radon sensor evaluation, LTE-M vs NB-IoT evaluation, building a complete system test solution, building an automated power measurement setup, and development of firmware sub-modules. You will get to work closely with our team of developers, with tons of experience to learn from!
Requirements
Info
The internship is fully paid and lasts from mid-June to mid-August. You will get one week of vacation during the internship.
