POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Branch of the company from sales to processing.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Actively recruit and hire successful candidates for Originator roles

* Supervise and mentor Originators and support staff in the Branch

* Manage Branch revenue and expenses to meet the Companys objectives

* Procure new loan applications that result in funded loans.

* Request and gather relevant information/documents from the borrower to complete the application, its structure and all loan disclosures. This must be done in coordination with processing as well as underwriting.

* Adhere to all company standards, including, but not limited to production minimums and customer service.

* Educate borrowers on current offerings and programs for which they qualify

* Monitor the process and communicate effectively with the borrower and all other parties to the transaction on the status of the loan

* Present complete and accurate files to the Processor

* Prospect for new loan applications by meeting with and presenting products to potential referral sources such as realtors, CPAs, financial planners and past clients

* Stay current with required continuing education, new products, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines, overlays, and HUD guidelines

* Ensure maintenance of a current license to perform Loan Originator duties within their assigned branch

* Comply with local, state and federal laws regarding position

* Conduct business in an ethical manner and in the best interest of the company

* Deal with upfront sales/daily issues, questions, concerns (with loan offers, production coordinators, processors, etc.)

* Push the pipeline from opening the loan to funding the loan and assist in each step along the way.

* Previous sales experience required, manager experience a plus

Education/Experience:

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in the mortgage business

* NMLS licensed

* One to three years related Branch Management experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Required Constantly walking, sitting, grasping, gripping, bending, stooping, squatting, computer input, finger dexterity, and coordination of hand, eye and foot.

- Required Frequently standing and climbing stairs.

- Required Occasionally reaching above the shoulder, and lifting 5-25 pounds, pushing and pulling.
