Position Summary: Oversee Warehouse operations including personnel, inventory, receiving inspection and shipping.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advise warehouse shipping/receiving personnel concerning inbound/outbound shipping details.
  • Track and maintain warehouse personnel timecards and attendance.
  • Lead, supervise, and assist Shipping and Receiving personnel, assuring incoming and outgoing parts have been completed accurately.
  • Assure receiving inspection procedures are followed and requirements are met.
  • Work closely with shipping/receiving and accounting on price discrepancies.
  • Responsible for reviewing all incoming invoices for accuracy before passing to accounting for payment.
  • Assure Materials procedures in IMS are accurate and firmly adhered to.
  • Assure that GSE / MRO tooling inventory is accurate and accounted for in all locations.
  • Assure all inventoried items have accurate locations.
  • Responsible for preparing and organizing annual physical inventory and ongoing cycle counts.
  • Maintain the most effective use of the warehouse; reorganizing shelves, location bins, etc. as needed.
  • Recommend bench stock quantities for MRO and/or Component Repair shop.
  • Recommend and oversee tooling process for storing tools in the MRO.
  • Assure shelf life items are accurately accounted for and stored / disposed of as defined in procedures.
  • Assure quarantined items are stored correctly, tracked, reviewed and cleared as quickly as possible.
  • Track and communicate with transporting couriers (DHL, UPS, FEDEX or airlines/ freight forwarders) to ensure timely delivery of all spares to and from warehouse including, both domestic and international shipments.
  • Lead, supervise, and track forklift certified personnel within the team.
  • Track and maintain valid HazMat shipping certifications on warehouse personnel.
  • Must comply with corporate guidelines on business ethics and ensure same for team.
  • Assist Head of Supply Services with any and all matters in product support, spare parts, warehouse and inventory issues that may arise.
  • Act as a positive role model in all aspects of professional performance.
  • Observe safety procedures and personnel policies.
  • Regular attendance is required as outlined in The Company's attendance policy.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience working in a warehouse or logistics related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience and knowledge with aircraft parts is required.
  • Intermediate to advance skill level in MS Excel and ERP systems to manage high volumes of data.
  • Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Must have knowledge of standard shipping and receiving policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Able to work with all levels of management and personnel.
  • Able to be flexible with meeting deadlines.
  • Courteous and patient to handle customer requests.
  • Self-directed, strong verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to multi-task and manage time proactively.
  • Knowledge of UPS/FEDEX shipping software.
  • Hazardous Material Training a plus.
  • Able to interact cordially and productively with subordinates, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Act as a positive role model in all aspects of professional performance.
  • Observe safety procedures and personnel policies and ensure the same from staff.
  • Must be able to operate forklift to receive/send bulk items.
  • Must regularly be able to reach overhead.
  • Must be able to walk around, squat, bend and stand regularly.
  • Must be able to climb ladders occasionally.
  • Must be able to lift or help lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs.

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with Airbus team members.

Travel Required:

  • Domestic and International travel may be required (less than 15%)

Nature of Contacts:

  • Involved communication on a regular basis with internal and external parties

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to see clearly with or without corrective lenses.
  • Able to hear clearly with or without hearing aid devises.
  • Able to walk around regularly.
  • Adequately lighted and ventilated office provided.

Eligibility:

  • US citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) is required.

Nature of Contacts:

  • Involved, negotiation type communication on a regular basis with internal and external parties.
