Addison Group is thrilled to support the search for an Accounts Receivable/Deductions Specialist to join the dynamic team of a growing manufacturing client in St. Louis Park, MN. As our client's team expands, they are seeking a committed and seasoned AR professional to process full cycle accounts receivable with a large emphasis on deductions and researching invoice discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience and expertise with, Maintaining the AR aging report, experience with applying and investigating deductions/discounts, auditing and resolving invoice discrepancies, conducting complex reconciliations, facilitating vendor communication, and more.

This is an on-site role based in St. Louis Park, MN, and is exclusively available to local residents of Minnesota or Western Wisconsin. This is a full-time, on-site position with compensation of up to $31.25/hr, dependent on applicable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Deductions
• Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the AR aging report, monitoring outstanding balances and collections.
• Process and apply payments received from various sources including cash, credit, checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and issues, including the write-off of bad debt.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., Sage, IFS SmartCare Legacy) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address billing inquiries and disputes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable process and maximize cash flow.
• Train and mentor team members on accounts receivable procedures and best practices.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
