Position Responsibilities : The Learning Collaborative Program Manager has overall program management responsibility for a new partnership with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Through this initiative, AgeSpan will convene a learning collaborative consisting of 10-12 newly funded Supportive and Social Day Programs across the Commonwealth. Supportive and Social Day Programs are local programs that provide non-medical support services in a group setting that help older adults and family caregivers stay connected to their communities. The Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of the learning collaborative, including maximizing participant engagement, scheduling and planning logistics, and ensuring the work is meeting the overall objects of the established work plan.
Essential Functions: (Core duties or tasks that are fundamental and not marginal to the performance of the job)
  • Assist in developing a detailed project plan and curriculum of a twelve-month learning collaborative, including defining performance measures and key milestones.
  • Securing content experts to present at each collaborative session.
  • Scheduling, managing, facilitating, and documenting a regular cadence of both collaborative sessions and individual technical assistance calls with participants.
  • Ensure compliance with and completion of all project reporting requirements as defined by funder.
  • Assist with additional resource development and organization.
  • Provide technical assistance and coordination support to project partners, as needed.
  • Assist participants with monitoring and tracking metrics, as needed.
  • Assist with the development of a best-practice playbook at the end of the learning collaborative
  • Manage any necessary changes to the project scope and project schedule.
  • Represent the agency at community events and programs.
  • Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS and minimum of three years of experience in program management preferred. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Bilingual and bicultural applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer proficiency, such as Office 365, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to carry out tasks as instructed with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete assignments in a timely manner with follow through.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
This is a one-year grant-funded position, with the potential for ongoing program management upon successful completion.
Hours: 37.5 per week
