Move/deliver/lift materials as needed in the production process to areas as needed via forklift, carts, dolly or by hand.
Conduct cycle counts on materials used in the production process as needed.
Identify need for materials by work area to support production.
Transport/Handle/Weigh raw, work in process material & finished goods in a safe and efficient manner.
Dispose of scrap materials, wood, trash to appropriate locations as needed
Understand and comply with all HSE, Compliance and other Company Policies.
Perform various other duties as assigned by Lead person/Supervisor/Manager within the physical constraints of the position.
**Qualifications**
5 years of experience driving a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
High School Education or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to interpret routers and bills of materials
Ability to use hand tools in a safe manner.
Ability to interact with fellow employees in a constructive and positive manner.
Possess Mechanical Aptitude.
Perform preventative maintenance and complete equipment checklists as required.
