Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: SRC's Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for college students to obtain meaningful work experience through on-the-job training assignments.
* Take an active part in the design, development, integration, and testing of site projects
* Provide engineering support for technical problems and recommend a course of action
* Assist senior engineers on complex problems, as assigned
* Report individual and group project status
* Develop and present a summer capstone project to division leadership
* May work across multiple programs in both a team environment and independently to perform their assigned tasks Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering degree program at an accredited institution
* Minimum of 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
* Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
* MatLab, Python, or C/C experience
* Experience in reviewing and evaluating design calculations and data from an engineering perspective
* Must be able to read design/construction drawings and be able to understand design narratives and calculations
* Technical writing skills to be applied in preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation
* Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environment
