Bench Scientist
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated contract scientist to join the Molecular Assessment and Profiling group in BioMedicine Design at Pfizer.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a talented team of scientists to develop innovative protein and RNA-based therapeutics to bring curative treatments to patients
- Perform critical biophysical/analytical assays using a suite of established methods
Qualifications:
- BA/BS with a minimum of 1 years of experience required, a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred
- Master's degree with 0-1 years of biochemistry research experience will also be accepted
- Bench work lab experience required
- Knowledgeable with protein and/or RNA LNP analytical characterization techniques including but not limited to aSEC, iCE, CGE (Labchip, TapeStation, Fragment Analyzer), qPCR, DLS size/PDI analysis
- Detail-oriented and highly organized; ability to complete experiments with limited supervision after trained
- Able to clearly communicate experiment results; experienced with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data presenting and reporting
Rate/Location:
- $42 - $47 per hour
- This is a fully onsite role in Cambridge, MA
