Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with SAP and a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping personnel.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments, including verification of quantities and condition of goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
• Utilize SAP and WMS software systems to track inventory movement, manage warehouse activities, and generate reports.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper procedures for handling, storing, and shipping inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, purchasing, and customer service, to coordinate warehouse activities and fulfill customer orders.
• Implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives to optimize warehouse operations and reduce costs.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse processes in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in SAP and WMS software systems, with demonstrated ability to navigate and utilize system functionalities effectively.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
