Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years of Software Engineering and/or Full Stack Development experience (this is a backend focused role)
• Skilled in technologies such as Java 17 , Python 3.10 , React OR Angular and Postgres OR Mongo.DB
• Hands-on experience with API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and web services
• Strong communication and experience presenting to high level stakeholders and executives. You should be able to get into the weeds of the technologies you work with and defend your tech/methods
• Degree in Computer Science or something comparable
• Proficient with Git and experienced with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Docker, Jenkins), ensuring efficient version control and deployment processes

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in Asset Management/Private Equity industry
• Experience or familiarity with Azure cloud services
• Experience with Event-Driven architectures and messaging systems, specifically Kafka
• Experience working in large tech companies
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Job Description:

A private equity client of ours is looking for experienced Full Stack Software Engineers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is responsible for custom application development. It will be required to go onsite 3-4 days a week in El Segundo, CA.

This team is responsible for helping to scale up existing and new internal applications for that were once used for single client use to multi-client use. This custom application development will be used to scale up and enhance their capabilities that they can provide to their clients in a more proactive manner. This current environment is Microsoft based architecture with SQL, .NET Core, C#, Angular and Python.

At some point in the future, this group will be shifting to a Java environment and therefore we are looking for a mix of candidates skilled in .NET, Java and or both. This team will be responsible for creating API connectivity to build internal capabilities for custom applications.

These applications could be focused on any of the following:

o How do we build framework for onboarding clients?

o Framework for SLAs and KPIs for existing and new clients

o Projects around building trading tools like new types of asset classes that they might invest in.

o How do we capture those?

o Their own funds structures, how do we create applications to manage their own fund structures.

Compensation :

$50/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
