Job Title: Navigator – Promotions Team Member

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Coordinator, Experiential Marketing

Status: Non-exempt
Duration: Seasonal, expected to last the duration of the Major League Baseball Season, March 2023 – through October 2023.


What an exciting time for Mariner Baseball! We are coming off of an awesome 2022 season and looking forward to 2023 for when The All-Star Game to returns to Seattle for the third time! Come join our team as an Event Staff at the Seattle Mariners to work alongside some of the best in baseball! We offer a fun, flexible, part- time schedule, an ORCA Card & much, much more!

We are looking for candidates with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at T-Mobile Park as we embark on one of our best seasons ever! We look forward to working with you at the best ballpark in all of Major League Baseball!


Primary Objective:
The Mariners are looking for high-energy individuals to jump start the “Electric Factory”! Responsible for improving fans’ overall experience with the Seattle Mariners by positively and professionally promoting and representing our brand at T-Mobile Park and in the community.


Essential Functions:

  • Assist in execution of on-field and in-park contests. Includes enthusiastically participating in some elements of contests (i.e. congratulating winning contestants, delivering prizes, etc.), explaining simple procedures of contests to participants and assisting in set-up and tear down.
  • Act as host to various guests of the Seattle Mariners during their visit to T-Mobile Park. Includes greeting guests, escorting guests to and from the field during pregame, clearly articulating expectations while on the field and generally making sure guests have a safe and fun experience.
  • Act as brand ambassador for the Seattle Mariners at external community events including the Mariners Community Tour, events with Mariners Bar League and more!
  • Assist with escorting the Mariner Moose both in ballpark on game days and at external community appearances and events.
  • Assist with promotion and execution of events in and around the 2023 MLB All-Star Week in Seattle.
  • Promote upcoming games and events both at the T-Mobile Park and in the community.
  • Potential for opportunities to host live features highlighting T-Mobile Park.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Previous work experience in a customer-driven environment required.
  • Prior public speaking, broadcast, performance or entertainment experience preferred.

Physical Activities and Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work 20 hours a week during home games (March through October), including evenings, weekends and holidays, plus community appearances.
  • Indoor and outdoor work environment, subject to fluctuation in temperatures, exposure to the sun and elements.
  • Must be able to access assigned locations in T-Mobile Park including navigating concrete stairwells, ramps and concourses.
  • Must be able to move up to 35 lbs.

The anticipated pay for this seasonal role is $ $20-$22 per hour.
