Project manager for a general contracting firm working on Hospital and Federal Projects with a value anywhere from $500K to $15M. In this role you will be expected to assist the Project Manager from start to finish on projects. In order to be successful in this position, you need to have a hard-working, positive attitude and effectively develop relationships with on-site teams.

Description

• Assist Project Manager in all phases of construction.
• Writes RFI's, submits for approval and distributes accordingly.
• Reviews and understands the subcontract documents as they apply to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Notifies management of significant project events such as project successes, issues, injuries, client relations, potential losses/claims.
• Work with owner/client to provide updates, obtain approvals and complete change orders for scope of work revisions.
• Assists with documenting changes; maintains project records, red line transfers and correspondence.
• Travel when necessary (once every 4-6 weeks for projects)
• Create positive/welcoming work environment for teams

Profile

• At least 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree required (degree in construction is a plus)
• Experience working on healthcare and/or federal projects is a plus
• Estimating experience is a plus
• Hard worker
