**Job Description**

AECOM is looking for a Roadway Design Engineer to join our Atlanta, Georgia transportation design team. As a Roadway Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of roadway, highway, intersection, bicycle, and pedestrian projects, utilizing and growing your technical skills and experience to deliver exceptional results.

**Responsibilities:**

Provide technical support

Develop conceptual layouts

Design roadway geometrics

Develop drainage designs

Develop construction staging plans

Develop Erosion and Sedimentation control designs

Prepare construction plans

Prepare right-of-way plans

Develop Construction staging plans

Other related design tasks

Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment

**Qualifications**

**Minimum:**

BS Civil Engineer with 2 years of transportation or roadway engineering or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

**Preferred:**

E.I.T. or Professional Engineer License

Bentley MicroStation OpenRoads or InRoads design experience

Experience with Georgia DOT roadway/highway design projects

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $62,000.00 - $112,000.00.
