Position Highlights
- $21.51-$26.35/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
- Additional pay for your bilingual skills!
- $5,000.00 Hiring/Retention Bonus Structure:
- At Hire: $1,500.00
- At 90-Days (3 months): $1,500.00
- At 180-Days (6 months): $2,000.00
- Bonus will be pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)

- Maintain and update patient medical records, prepare for visits by reviewing files and collaborating with Providers
- Assist in preparing exam rooms and explaining procedures to patients, collecting lab specimens, administering medication, and assisting physicians during exams and procedures
- Provide education, respond to patient questions and concerns, ensure completion of essential questionnaires, and facilitate clinic flow with warm handoffs
- Communicate with MAs and BHCs, support clinic resources, manage patient lists, and interpret for the Behavioral Health Consultant as needed
- Handle scheduling & telehealth visits, administer patient screeners, and perform outreach to high-risk patients
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Completion of accredited medical assisting program from CAAHEP or ABHES (720 training hours, including 160-hour externship), approved apprentice program, 720 hours of college education, equivalent military training, or minimum 2 years full-time MA experience, certified or exam-eligible.
- One year s experience as a CMA is preferred
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- National credential from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT within 12 months of hire
- Medical knowledge for understanding theories, reasons, and technical aspects of medicine
- Strong people skills to handle diverse personalities, backgrounds, and situations
- Excellent multitasking ability to manage varied workloads
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic, and EMR
