Quality Control Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced HVAC Quality Control Manager to ensure that our HVAC installations meet and exceed quality standards consistently throughout our locations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC installation practices, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of implementing effective quality control processes. The HVAC Quality Control Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, limited service/warranty, and designing our products.
Minimum EducationResponsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for HVAC install, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Oversee projects outside of our normal course of business to ensure we maintain quality while not disrupting our RNC production.
Establish quality control checkpoints throughout the installation process to monitor and inspect components, assemblies, and finished products for defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, test protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Train and educate production staff on quality control processes, standards, and best practices, developing a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular field walks and assessments of installation practices, equipment, and Manual JDS designs to identify areas for optimization, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies, conducting periodic supplier audits as necessary.
Lead investigations into quality incidents, builder complaints, and installation failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to HVAC quality control, proposing and implementing relevant improvements or modifications.
